It's never easy to write about ones self. I guess the easiest way is to simply write about who I am and leave it at that!
I am the CEO of a Trading Company. I am married with three great kids. For many years I was a bass player for the Canadian Country music band McQueen. I have had the good fortune to have worked with many of Country Music's greatest artists, including Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakum, Kathy Mattea, Trace Adkins, and many others. I still play, but not as seriously as I used to. I currently play in a band called Don't Go Changin'. A fun dance band that plays only a few times per year, but we really do enjoy it when we do get together to play!
My new passion is endurance events. I have run a few Marathons. I am certainly not fast, but I do finish. I have run numerous 1/2 marathons and 10 K's. I recently completed a 1/2 Ironman Triathlon (2K swim, 82K bike and 21K run) in a time of 6:18:00. Not fast but I do get to the finish line. It is my plan to compete in Ironman Canada in 2008, with my wife Shelley. She is my inspiration and the reason that we live such a healthy lifestyle. And that's it! That's who I am!
