Fire on the Plains

About Me

love us or hate us

Fire On The Plains is a band from Simi Valley, California, who started playing together in early 2008. The band consist of Donnie on vocals, Chris on guitar, Ryan on bass and Ricky on Drums. They instantly recorded a four song demo and went on a west coast tour. Through continuous writing and as many shows as possible they joined Roam the River Records to record their debut Ep “Burning All Bridges” in the dirty downtown district of Riverside, CA. Five intense songs recorded by Michael Head and Jesse O'Brian then mixed by the amazing Dave Swanson.

California’s had more than its share of worthy hardcore punk acts. Fire on the Plains follow suit with their modern and relevant brand of metalcore by displaying fueled fury with slight gloss and swagger. With powerful guitar licks that cover spectrums of math rock and speed metal with huge riffs and ear-piercing harmonic frequencies. Producing demonic screams powerful enough to knock down a wall and a rhythm section that blasts the listener with explosive and dynamic might. Burning All Bridges effectively demonstrates Fire On The Plains' inner rage, drawing comparisons to original Southern California metalcore pioneers of nearly a decade and a half prior.~Synthesis Magazine
