Really anything. I really like folk, bluegrass, blues, jazz, classical, rock, classic rock, alternative, indie, and even some old funk (80's hip hop stuff). I'm open to a lot of different music. ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------------------------------I admit that I love talk radio / independent music radio. I love listening to 8.99, 8.93, 90.7, 97.1 and 640 am. I love Saturday mornings and afternoons listening to Praire Home Companion and other shows that I might be able to catch before and after work. But Sundays are the best. Repeats of Praire, and airings of What Do You Know, The Click and Clack Brothers (Car Talk). Talk of the Nation, This America Life, most airings on NPR. Really anything that's on those stations will catch my ear. And also Coast to Coast in the evening. Good one to go to sleep listening to. Keeps the mind going.
There's too many to list them all, but I'll put a few down: Shawshank Redemption, The Pianist, The Constant Gardner, 28 Days Later, Uncle Buck, Motorcylce Diaries, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Singles, Lord of The Rings (all three), Harry Potter (but I do like the books better), Amelie, Sin City, Lost in Translation, Million Dollar Baby, Napolean Dynamite, and many more.
I barely watch tv anymore. But here are my favorites: Farscape, Firefly, Family Guy, Simpsons, Carnivale.
There's only one book on here that I will list and everyone should read at least once in their lifetime..... Diet For a New America, by John Robbins.
Mahatma Gandhi. If we all live life in the way he did what a world we would have."Truth, purity, self-control, firmness, fearlessness, humility, unity, peace, and renunciationThese are the inherent qualities of a civil resister."
