I'd like to meet:
My purpose here is to be an encouragement to others and hopefully a blessing in someone's day. I’m open to meeting anyone and everyone who is willing to get to know me. I’m just here to react with all types of people. Not looking for phone numbers, dates, meeting or anything like that so don’t worry about me asking you for a number or any personal contact information. I don’t want to take things that far because I’ve been there before and I had all sorts of problems when it came to that, so please respect that part. We can do just as good with keeping in touch online which I have no problems doing. I try to respond to all messages and comments even when times are difficult. I don’t discriminate against anyone because we are all God’s children and we have to love one and another and not be against each other.
TITLE: True Prayer
I asked God to take away my pride.
God said, "No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up."
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, "No. Her spirit is whole, her body is only temporary."
I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, "No. Patience is a by-product of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is earned."
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, "No. I give you blessings, happiness is up to you."
I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, "No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me."
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, "No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful."
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, "No. I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things."
I asked God to help me love others, as much as God loves me.
God said... "Ahhhh, finally you have the idea!"
Someone accurately said that maturity in prayer occurs when we are able to move
from the plea, "Give me..." to the deeper prayer, "Use me."
More words of encouragement, inspiration, or to bring joy to your day
Believers practice Christ like conduct. Believers are faithful Christians. Believers know that God is their Creator, Jesus is their Savior, and the Holy Spirit is their Comforter.
God is a God of purpose and hope. If the desire of your heart is a new beginning, He can make that happen. A second chance is given to everyone that takes responsibility for his/her mistakes. Begin your new beginning by praying the sinner’s prayer.
God’s Son, Jesus Christ released you from being under the control of Satan the Master of Hell when He sacrificed himself on the cross for the times you went beyond acceptable boundaries. He took your place, He paid for your sin, so you would not ever be separated from God your Heavenly Father. The Son of God is your Redeemer. He ransomed you. He bought you back. He saved you. The Christ is the author of eternal salvation. And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; HEBREWS 5:9
When you know you need God in your life—when you realize Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sin—it is time to reach for God’s gift of eternal life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ROMANS 6:23
God wants you to show Him your devotion—He wants you to be a cause of spiritual thinking—He wants you to be righteous. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. JAMES 5:16
If you believe what God says in His book with all your heart and if you do what God says do, you will be saved. The END
"Chances Vs. Choices" BY: A. Adams. If you like you can leave comments about this one in my blog section
I want to touch on something that has to do with the words chances and choices. In life I'm sure all would agree that we only get one "chance" at life here on earth. It's the word "choices" that outweighs the word chance. It's all about the choices that we make in life that determines are future and the way God sees us and others. A lot of people complain sometimes that life isn't good to them or complain that life isn't for them because of certain situations that they may be involved in at the time of struggle. If you're a person that says life isn't good, then you obviously have a lot of learning to do because life is a gift from God, Cherish it and be thankful for it. But sometimes we as people are our own worse enemy. Some are willing and quick to put the blame on the next person instead of looking at the main person which is "themselves" The choices you make each day is a reflection of you, not the next person. Choices determines how your life will take shape, whether you achieve your goals to be successful, be their for your family, being respectful and having a piece of mind, etc. You sometimes hear a lot of young people and older people say "Well the reason why I'm like this or why I turned to drugs, guns, violence, being unemployed etc. is because this is the type of environment I live in and came from. I have no other choice." This is wrong! You made the choice to do those sorts of things. It's not an excuse. People may influence you to some degree but it's not their fault, it's yours! You choose to shoot dope, you choose not to believe and have faith in GOD, you choose to drink, you choose to smoke, you choose to rob and steal, you choose not to go to school, you choose to sit at home and do nothing with your life, you choose not to work, you choose not to put an effort to helping your family or taking care of them when they are in need. It all comes back to you! So never think that you're going to get another chance in life if you're doing some of these things or others because you get no other chance in life on this earth you only get one! Think about the choices that you are making for yourself, your family, etc. It's a powerful word that help determines "you!". So if you're questioning your life and the way that your life is going, sit down and think about the choices you're making. 99.9% of the time you have no one to blame on the way your life is but yourself.
Encouragement Poems
This one is called: "HOLD ON" BY: A. Adams
There have been times in my life
when all seemed lost.
Life just wasn't worth living
through another day.
Then you need to remember things
that are important to you.
For as low as we fall there is always
something or someone, somewhere,
to help pull you back
from the deep pits of darkness.
Once you feel yourself slipping
grab on to that something or someone.
We wonder why life has given us such
a bad deal. This is not to question.
Love, Hope and Faith will guide us.
Look around and find the things
you need to live for.
If we look hard enough,
we will find the place we need to be.
Hold on for your loved ones,
hold on for yourself. God will take you
when he needs you. Until then
make the most of what you have.
Give the most that you can,
love the best you can,
And never lose hope.
Each morning you wake up
Thank God you are still alive,
to live another day to find your way.
Life is truly worth living for, if you look.
Find that place you need to be
And just hold on.
NAMED TITLE: "WHEN JESUS LOOKS" BY: A. Adams
When Jesus looks upon my life,
What picture does He see.
Does He see His own reflection,
Or does He just see me.Does He see His likeness,
The product of His hand.
Or just another Christian,
Who never took a stand.Does He see a child of God,
A child that He set free.
Living life to honor Him,
Or does He just see me.What about the other folks,
I meet along the way.
Do I show them Jesus,
To brighten up their day. When someone looks into my eyes,
Can they truly see.
That calm and gentle peace of God,
That dwells inside of me.When I reach out and shake a hand,
Is He right there in my grip.
Can they feel that strength from God,
That steadies when I slip. When folks are in my presence,
Do they know His Spirit's there.
Can they see that He's the one,
Who guides me everywhere. When other people think of me,
What is on their mind.
Do they think of Jesus Christ,
So gentle and so kind.I try to be like Jesus,
Every single day.
Spreading love and kindness,
All along my way.I'm afraid that I have failed,
I could not pass the test.
Deep inside my heart I know,
I haven't done my best.I have had to fight my flesh,
Since the day that I was born.
It's always causing trouble,
And being such a thorn. That's why His Spirit dwells in me,
He's helping me to learn.
In every situation,
Where I need to turn.He knew I'd never pass the test,
That's why He took my place.
He gave His life to save my soul,
He suffered my disgrace. Now I try to be like Him,
I must present Him well.
So other folks will want His gift,
And turn their backs on hell.Other folks should see the joy,
That Christ has given me.
They should want to have it too,
Especially since it's free. They should begin to ask me,
What is it they must do.
Just how it is they go about,
Getting Jesus too. Then I get to tell them,
This wondrous gift is free.
It only takes a humble heart,
A prayer on bended knee.Someday when I'm face to face,
With the Lord who set me free.
Will He see His own reflection,
Or will He just see me.
NAME TITLE: "NEVER QUIT" By: Unknown Author
"When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit."
NAMED TITLE: "A New Day!" By: A. Adams
his is the beginning of a new day.I have been given this day to use as I will.I can waste it, or use it.I can make it a day long to be remembered for its joy,Its beauty and its achievements,Or it can be filled with pettiness. What I do today is importantBecause I am exchanging a day of my life for it.When tomorrow comes this day will be gone forever; But I shall hold something which I have traded for it.It may be no more than a memory,But if it is a worthy one I shall not regret the price.I want it to be gain not loss, good not evil,Success, not failure.
NAMED TITLE: "There's A New Day Coming!" By: A. Adams
When the sun announces the dawning day,Just flex your muscles and start on your way.Go over, or under, around, or throughAny obstacles or hurdles that challenge you. There's a new day coming,Cast aside the failures of yesterday;Forget the peaks and valleys that have paved your way.Wipe the sweat from your brow and the dust from your shoe,Take a breath and relax so that you may begin anew. There's a new day coming.Forget the burdens and obstacles that have held you back.Focus on your dreams and prepare a plan of attack. There are battles awaiting to challenge your success,Daring you to stand tall and to give it your best. There's a new day coming. No matter how great the journey, or how heavy the load,How steep the mountain, or how rough the road,When your arms grow weary and legs give wayStop and rest for a moment, it will be okay. There's a new day coming. As shadows spring forth from the setting sun.Take a moment and savor the battles you've won.Sleep peacefully tonight and enjoy your rest.Awaken tomorrow and continue your quest. There's always a new day coming.

Words of Wisdom from the Bible
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her.She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Proverbs 4:7-13
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches. -- Corinthians 2:13
Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee: for oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others. -- Ecclesiastes 7:21-22
And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding -- Daniel 2:21
The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. -- Ecclesiastes 10:12
STATEMENT OF FAITH
God is triune: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is all loving, all wise, and all powerful. He is the one true, living God. He is the creator of all things.
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, The Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." 1 John 5:7
Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, born of a virgin, and without sin. He was crucified on a cross and rose from the dead, purchasing, with His shed blood, a place in heaven for all believers and offering forgiveness of sin.
"But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:20-21
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures; and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve; after that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time." 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 (written by Paul)
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" Ephesians 1:7
The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, present in the heart of every believer from the moment of salvation. His presence is God's assurance of salvation to the believer. He is our teacher, guide, and our convictor of sin and righteousness.
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26
"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." 1 Corinthians 2:12
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God." Romans 8:26-27
Man is created by God in His image. Man sinned against God and came under condemnation by God. Man as a result has a sinful nature that is inherited by all generations.
"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him." Colossians 1:12-17
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus." Romans 3:23-26
"For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight" Colossians 1:19-22
"For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:21-22
Salvation is by God's grace not by good works. It is offered as a free gift to all who will confess themselves as sinners, repent, and accept the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross as payment for the penalty of their sin as required by God's law. Salvation restores a personal relationship between man and God through Jesus. Salvation is received through faith.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." Romans 10:9-11
