Far From The Trees has called it quits after one year of solid performances. Far From The Trees started there journey in the basement studio of Fred gillette. Fred helped coach the original lineup till they were ready to move on and start playing live. In there first performance at mavericks bar far from the trees impressed the audience with a solid set and great stage presence that won them a first place finish. Two days later the band played at Zaphods which was the first time kevin jumped into the crowd during the last solo of the bands set, this went over so well with the crowd that it became a trend and was done at every show. The band went on to play at greenfields pub then the supernova finals at capital music hall. After that they would open for eppiphane at mavericks and play a show the brickstone. The band knew that it was all over after a show in february at cafe dekcuf, a week after that show the band decided to call it quits by email.
