About Me

I am a 43 year old gal that has been a psychologist in private practice. I've been forced via health reasons, to stop and appreciate what I have in life. One day at the grocery store with my sister, I fell to the floor with a Grand Mal siezure which ended my life as I knew it. I knocked out a large portion of my right side of the brain and couldn't walk, read, write, calculate math, time, and for a while could not speak. Although all did not heal, I am still here and am so grateful!Music has always been there as my best friend, therapist, and motivation. I am slowly learning how to play my guitar again after not being able to do basics after some significant brain damage. So, this is my attempt at starting to play again and communicate with other musicians and/or pay homage to the musicians that have inspired me.Many heart felt thanks to my Nanna and Korey for the inspiration to continue my passion. Please write to me if you have similar issues or just want to corrispond. About music and healing. All the Best to You! Laurie

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am not really using this as a way to meet people so much as a way of communicating with other musicians. If you have and idea or something that has worked for you, please leave a message, as that can only help all of us who want to keep music active in our lives. Have an inspiring story? I would love to hear from you!
