About Me

I play a lot of music. I'm really good at it...seriously. I play in a local salsa band called Cambalache which is pretty darn good. You should come to one of our gigs. It's really fun. You do dance...don't you? If you don't know how, I'll teach you the basics so you can have a good time. I also love to play jazz, because it is such an intricate and intimate music. Music is my doorway to the divine.

I am, if I do say so myself, a really good time. Seriously. I'm more fun than a piece of string with a rock and some electrical tape. I can hold my own in any conversation. Try me.I am a total smart ass and a tease, but it's all in good fun.

Eddie P

I talked to Eddie Palmieri the other day on the phone. I told him, "Tell you what, I'll learn all of your music and you just call me when you need me."  I wonder how long I have.

Giving myself what's due

The other night I decided to see myself for the musician I am and ask a successful New York jazz trumpet player to record an album with me.  She said she would.  I'll have my Grammy yet.
