So, after much deliberation, I've decided to rewrite this "about me" section. Although true, I've been told it sounded a little crude and harsh. After all, life isn't always peaches and cream. I'll admit, I can be a difficult person at times. But can't we all? After all, nobodys perfect except for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and he doesn't care what our faults are. So, without further adieu, here goes. Shortly after high school graduation, I embarked on a journey in the United States Navy. Talk about a culture shock... a humble, small town Alabama boy learning to be a man through the trials and tribulations of military boot camp. I went on to complete my six year enlistment on board a guided missle cruiser stationed in Norfolk, VA. Although I decided not to make a career of it, I learned many life lessons and saw many places that I wouldn't have had the benefit of seeing if I had not joined. After that, I worked several odd jobs, looking for my niche. In September 2001, I stumbled across an ad in the paper for a power plant job. After several interviews and many sleepless nights, I received a job offer and gladly accepted a position, which is where I am now. Why not? It's the same thing I did while traveling the world on Uncle Sams ticket. I bought my first house in the spring of 2004. Time to settle down and live an adult life. I have no kids and have never been married. Although I did come close once, but it didn't quite work out. Oh well. Guess it wasn't meant to be. You see, I only plan on saying "I do" once. I don't want to be a statistic. I would like to have kids someday, but only when the time is right. Imagine that, a little me running around. Not sure if the world could handle that. LOL. Until then, I'll be happy with my pets, two dogs and a cat. My oldest, and most beloved, is my dog Daytona. He can always bring a smile to my face. He even has his own myspace page! Check him out. He's number one on my list. My cat, Charlotte, and my other dog, Vegas, came into my home as strays. I can't help it. I have a soft spot for animals. See, I do have a heart. Shh, don't tell anybody. I have a rep to protect. LOL. My family is also very dear to me. Don't know where I'd be without them. This includes my immediate family as well as my extended family. You'll notice them near the top of my friends list. Yes, they are a band. They treat me like a brother, and I do my part by attending their shows. I've also met several other members of the Chaos family that are very dear to me. I love them all. Which leads me to another one of my many passions, music. I love all kinds. I believe theres a song to fit every situation and mood. I enjoy attending shows and concerts. Nothing better than live music. So, thats just a little peek into my so-called life. It's quite simple. An exciting day for me would include a day at the pool with family and friends, throwing something on the grill, taking my dogs for a walk, or a day in front of the tube watching a race or some sporting event, particularly Auburn football or a NASCAR race. Well, I could go on, but darkness is drawing near and my eyelids are getting heavy, so I'll bid a fond farewell. I'm sure I'll come back and add more, but that should be enough to keep you interested for now. Thank you for your time. If theres anything in here you would like for me to elaborate on, feel free to ask. I'll answer to the best of my ability.
