About Me

This petite sexy and gorgeous performer can at once steal your heart and rock you all night long. She'll send a shiver down your spine, causing what Quincy Jones so aptly described as "truth marks". From Elvis to Bonnie Raitt, "blue-eyed soul" has traditionally been one of the most successful formats for pop music. Brilliantly, Cynthia carries on this tradition. She cites as influences Aretha Franklin, Janice Joplin and Tina Turner. One needs only to see and hear her perform to understand why she has achieved three Billboard Dance charted records. These include: "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Back in my Arms" and "Chain Reaction". Her cover of Sly Stone's, "Stand" and the accompanying video were played world-wide to critical acclaim.(Medium rotation VH1) These successes led her to be named one of the Top Twenty Artists of the Year by Billboard Magazine and culminated in her being one of only ten artists invited to perform at the International New Music Seminar in NYC. In 1997 Cynthia produced her first do-it-yourself" CD entitled "Free As A Bird" with the incredibly talented drummer/musician Mauricio Lewak. The next step was to build a creative and easily navigated website. The website and CD got Cynthia and her band into many festivals and opened up military tours. Cynthia loves to entertain and these tours gave her "do what it takes to get it done" attitude a chance to shine. She and her band toured the Balkans AND IRAQ during very "scary” times and still enjoyed doing the tours! "All Over The Place" was Cynthia’s next creation with lots of creative help from Frank Scarpelli and Eric Gorfain. With website CD sales and Internet radio charting, Cynthia continues to do what she loves doing the most… singing and performing. During the summer of 2004, Christain deWALDEN introduced Cynthia to Vanni G. and David Bacon. She went to Fiuggi, Italy, and co-wrote 4 High NRG dance tunes. They produced them, and now Cynthia is back to her disco roots. This music is fun and happy, and is enough to get even the tiredest of people onto the dance floors. The disc is called "Everybody Dance". Take a listen and enjoy the journey. Cynthia has entertained audiences to standing ovations in China, Europe, the Middle East, Japan and throughout the United States. Let her entertain you.
