Ha realizzato colonne sonore per progetti cinematografici e multimediali per la Virgin ed altre societa' inglesi ed italiane.
Ha collaborato nella sfera dell’etnica e del free-jazz contemporaneo tra l’avanguardia noise ed le sperimentazioni psichedeliche con Roberto Bellatalla, Marco Brezza, Marco Ariano, etc. in varie e alternate formazioni.
E' tra gli autori di "La grande enciclopedia della chitarra e dei chitarristi" per EditoriRiuniti nel 2003.
Grazie alla riscoperta di un vecchio amore del passato, il rock degli anni '70! nel 2004 ha fondato la propria band “The Accellerators†(www.myspace.com/oddvillecircus), vincitori al Gran Gala “AWARDS OF ART 2005†di Roma come progetto emergente. The Accelerators realizzano il loro disco d'esordio “Oddvilleâ€, co-prodotto con l’engineer-producer di Los Angeles vincitore “Grammy Awards†DAVID A. BIANCO (Bob Dylan, U2, Tom Petty, Santana, Mick Jagger, Elton John, Rage Against The Machine, Robbie Williams, Ozzy Osbourne, Teenage Fanclub, AC/DC, Zack De La Rocha, The Black Crowes, Primal Scream, Danzig, Rollins band, Coal Chamber, Failure), nel 2006. L'album è attualmente disponibile su itunes e distribuito in Giappone (Apple Paint Factory Records) su supporto fisico.
Attualmente David sta lavorando al proprio disco solistico e ad un nuovo progetto rock-blues, ma cosa ancor più importante alla realizzazione di un proprio studio di registrazione altamente professionale.
Il Revolver Studio aprirà a settembre 2009, nella Control room principale ci sarà una SSL 9064J.
David W. ha collaborato inoltre in vari progetti con Andrea Morricone, Eumir Deodato, Gene Grimaldi, Pape Gurioli, David Bianco, Gianluca Renzi, Chris Athens, Roberto Bellatalla, Giancarlo Ciminelli, Pasquale Innarella, Pierpaolo Ferroni, Neri per Caso, etc...
Negli anni David W. ha coltivato uno studio approfondito sugli strumenti vintage ricercando tra le produzioni storiche piu' pregiate e nel moderno boutique, dagli anni '50 ad oggi (chitarre elettriche, acustiche, amplificatori valvolari, tape and magnetic echo, effetti a pedale, modulatori e filtri, vocoder, moduli guitar synthesizer). La sua strumentazione vanta numerosi modelli rarissimi ed altamente selezionati (sotto troverete una descrizione dettagliata).
La conoscenza del vintage/boutique si è ulteriormente ampliata nel settore recording professionale, studiando la vasta gamma di unità (console, microfoni, preamp, equalizzatori, compressori, delay, reverberi, effettistica, etc…) che hanno fatto parte dei più importanti studi di registrazione dagli anni ’40 fino ai nostri giorni
Musician, composer, arranger and producer David Walter Mohr (aka W. Babbini) was born in 1975 and raised in Rome. In the '90s David composed soundtracks for Virgin and Sony Entertainment Europe, played for some local bands around Rome and worked on "CHITARRE" guitar magazine where has had collaborations for interviews and clinics with: Ralph Towner, Tommy Emmanuel, David Fiuczynski, Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Steve Morse, Pat Metheny, Mike Stern, David Gilmore (Steve Coleman) and many others.

The first Accelerators album was co-produced and mixed by Grammy winner David Bianco (Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Rage Against The Machine, Coal Chamber, U.S. Crush, Danzig, Failure, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, John Hiatt, Mick Jagger, Del Amitri, Teenage Fan club, The Posies) at Forward Studios in Roma and mastered by Gene Grimaldi at Oasis studio in Los Angeles. “Oddville†is the name of their debut, a concept of 11 tracks recorded in analog. A lot of important players and composers joined the band during the recording sessions like Gianluca Renzi on double bass, Eumir Deodato on clavinet and fender rhodes, Andrea Morricone who arranged and directed a string ensemble and the a’cappella band “Neri per casoâ€. The Accelerators won an award as the best Italian independence production at gran gala of arts in Rome and have been invited to play at the final of two important European film festivals Venice and Cannes.
