MAPAC is a volunteer, nonpartisan community entity, whose mission is to help advance and preserve the culture of Asian Pacific Americans living and/or working in Malden to: promote human rights; to seek equality and justice in all areas of community life; and to help ensure equal access to services. People of various ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds have come together around this mission, recognizing that:

A vibrant and growing community requires the full participation of all its residents.A community is only as strong as its most vulnerable residents.
