Nefesh in ebraico è un concetto estremamente poliedrico e in sostanza è la manifestazione della vita umana: dal respiro vitale chiamato anima a la sintesi fra il corpo e lo spirito che da vita alla persona tutta. Questa band nasce come un pensiero, un’idea, un sogno. È una realtà musicale che prende vita con l’incontro di cinque ragazzi della provincia di Ancona. Il tutto nasce prima nella mente di Lyuke Melchisedek per poi contagiare gli altri e così divenire da sogno a progetto reale. Iniziano a lavorare insieme nel 2005 circa e alla fine del 2006 si autoproducono il loro primo cd/demo registrato nello studio di Alessandro Castriota. Grazie a questo lavoro entrano nel roster della Necroagency, un’efficientissima agenzia di promozione, con cui collaborano per sei mesi ottenendo ottimi riscontri di critica sia a livello nazionale (tra tutti ricordiamo l’8.5 della rivista Rock Hard e i numerosi “top demo” ottenuti in numerose webzine come heavymetal.it e artistsandband.com) che a livello internazionale. Nel 2008 entrano nel roster dell’Alkemist Fanatix Europe, agenzia di promotion e managment con importanti collaborazioni internazionali, capitanata da Carlo Bellotti, grazie alla quale ottengono l’interessamento di alcune label italiane ed estere, tra tutte la storica Copro Records di Oxford con la quale sono in procinto di firmare. Nel mentre iniziano a collaborare con il mitico produttore Frank Andiver per la realizzazione del loro primo cd “ufficiale”. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------In Hebrew, Nefesh is an extremely polyhedric concept and it is basically the manifestation of the human life:from the vital breath called soul,to the synthesis between body and spirit that gives life to the whole person. This band was born like a thought, an idea, a dream. It is a musical reality that takes life from the meeting of five guys from the district of Ancona. Everything was born before in Lyuke Melchisedek’s mind, to next contaminate the others, so to become a dream come true. They start to work together about in 2005 and at the end of 2006 they self-produced their first cd/demo recorded in Alessandro Castriota’s studios. Thanks to this work, they enter in the roster of Necroagency,a very efficient agency of promotion with which they collaborate for 6 months, getting great feedbacks from both national and international critics (among all, we remind the 8.5 of the magazine “Rock hard” and the numerous “top demo” in lots of webzines like heavymetal.it and artistsandband.com). In 2008 they enter in the roster of Alkemist Fanatix Europe, an agency of promotion and management with important international collaborations, led by Carlo Bellotti, thanks to which they obtain the interest of some Italian and foreign labels, among all, the historical Copro Records (Oxford), with which they are about to sign a contract.
