The Sound is mainly influenced by the Urban Music Szenes in NY, London or Kingston. Trigga Happy always has more than one eye on the hype and party is all these guys care about!
History:
Slick Rik and Lion Lino came from a HipHop Backgroud around end of the 90's to Reggae and Dancehall Music. Soon they made their first steps in the Soundbusiness playing several years at Soundsystems like Steppin Youth, Homechillin' und King'sBread, before they joined end of 2005 together to the well known Kanga Roots Sound from Hamburg. In 2007 they left Kanga Roots again to go their own way and to build up a new sound:the TRIGGA HAPPY SOUNDSYSTEM
