I started hunting squirrels, with my dad, when I was around 7. That got me "hooked" on being in the woods every fall. Then around the age of 13 or 14 I started spring and fall turkey hunting with my father, which got hunting enstilled in my blood, especially after killing my first gobbler! At the age of 15 I killed my first buck, a small basket rack 8 point, taken with my Marlin 30-30. He wasn't a state record, but I thought he should be. And of course he had to be mounted and proudly displayed on the wall of my parents home. I started Bowhunting when I was about 16 or so, and if you have ever taken a animal with a bow, what a feeling! After my first deer with a bow, I was truly addicted to the woods, hunting and especially Bowhunting whitetails. This is still very true today, although now with my own family, time is limited, but it's all worth it in the end.MY HUNTING GEAR:Bow: PSE Baby-G Infinity Series, Easton Carbon epic arrows, fitted with a Muzzy 125 Grain, 3 Blade broadhead.Rifle: Remington Model 700 .270 Bolt action, fitted with a Tasco World Class 3x9-40 scope, and Remington 130 Grain core-Lok ammunition.Shotgun(Turkey): Remington 870 12 gauge Realtree special purpose, super full turkey choke, chambered for 2 3/4" or 3" shells, and topped off with Winchester 3" Double X magnums.Shotgun(Small Game): Remington 870 wingmaster pump or Remington 11-87 semi-auto, and Federal 5 or 6 shot ammunition.Muzzleloader: Thompson Center Scout .50 Cal. 90 Grains of Black powder pushing a 320 grain T/C Maxi-ball.Stand: Summit Shooter 2 Boss climber.Camo(Spring/Fall): Realtree Hardwoods HDCamo(Winter): Realtree Hardwoods snowOptics: Steiner 8x22 Predator ProCURRENT MOON lunar phases
