Devil Story (Original Title: Il ..tait une fois le diable) is a French horror film directed by Bernard Launois in 1985.
Devil Story is a great Z grade horror film from France. The story is somewhat jumbled up and doesnt make much sense- A Nazi zombie that is under control by a witch is terrorizing the french countryside. The Zombie will kill anyone that gets in his way. In fact, not much can stop our Nazi Zombie friend, even if that means getting a chunk of his skull kicked off by a horse. Next, we get a Mummy who is awakened after the pirate ship he was on rises from the mountain it was buried in (I told you the story doesnt make much sense). The Mummy begins to go on his own rampage, stomping the guts out of anyone in his way. Our hero is a woman who runs around aimlessly in her nightgown and yellow raincoat. She makes an explosive end of our French Nazi zombie and Mummy friend...or was it all a dream?
