Bubble baths before bed make my day. Showering is definitley not my default. After a bubble bath, a texting session is probably my lullaby. Michael Baker, you are so damn amazing; texting before bed is better than Red Bull. I like observing people. I am keen to meet an anthropologist one day. I wish to be surrounded by psychologists. Pigging out on the couch sums me up. Guitarstrophe! makes my Saturdays superb. I love being addicted to the internet. I wouldn't ask for anything else. Currently, I think Jared is awesome. I read too much. Obsessive, yes. I have a fetish for languages. I wish I can speak every single language ever known, gibberish excluded. I also have a fetish for Russian Matryoshka dolls. One day, I will live in Moscow, married with 5 kids. Nah I kid, but I'd love to have children. If somebody asked me what I'd like to do for a living, my answer would be "Going on student exchange programs every year." I love the fact that my family lives all over the place. It's like collecting rubbish from everywhere. After high school my mission is to take a roadtrip in Texas or anywhere else in America, listening to a lot of country and wearing overalls. I don't really understand why I belong to "parents". I think we should all start living away from our family by the time we are about thirteen.
ellen!
This is the section that always makes me think. I really don't know what to write here. Do I count myself as a musician? Am I a musician? Should I be extremely outgoing and show off the fact that I might be a musician? Music is probably something that makes up who I am today. Without it I don't really see a "Deniz". I don't see anything/anybody at all, actually. I love it, I love music. I am one of those people who click on that "Newcomer" banners on MySpace. I enjoy nothing else but checking out new music. I listen to anything. Combinations are good. If I ever met Tchaikovsky, I would bow. I can't live without classical music and dancing to classical music. Yes, that is true, I dance with the right technique. It is what dancing really is. The pain, the stress, nothing compares with ballet. I support Australian music and local bands. You'll find me in Fremantle every Sunday, probably at the Arts Centre, enjoying my music while chipping on some water crackers. Currently I am into a lot of Indie, Jazz, Nu-Jazz, Electro, House, Classical, Concrete, Blues, Bluegrass, Foreign pop, Rock, Metal, Grunge, Nu-Metal, Riot, Punk, Rap and a little R&B. Yes, very little R&B. No wonder! The mains in my life include John Butler Trio, Clare Bowditch, Angus and Julia Stone, Teagan and Sara, Augie March, Faker and well, if I can think of more I will edit this, pretty sure I will. I also still enjoy Turkish Soft Rock like Nev or Teo. I love Turkish Ska like Athena. Whoever or whatever you listen to, mention it to me. I don't have anything against any sort of music. I'll probably enjoy it while you are, with you.
Okay, this might sound silly but I actually had to make a list of the movies I really like. Woah I feel nerdy. Anyway, I'll go on. I watch SBS and I am proud of it, seriously. On SBS there is this show called S.O.S. I am not really sure when they show it, but I saw it once and it was fab. It's like a pile of short films; well I love short films. I love lots of drama and mind questioning films like Fur, Fairytale, the Devil's Arithmetic, Freedom Writers, Da Vinci Code, Pretty Persuasion just to name a few. Other favourites would be Spanglish, Clueless, Elizabethtown, Prime and most importantly Center Stage! I love Evan Rachel Wood's films. I occasionally go to film festivals, most of the films that I see turn out pretty good.
I got into that Kitchen Nightmares show pretty recently. I don't watch television crazily, or frequently. I used to love So You Think You Can Dance, but the Australian version is extremely bad, I hope people agree with me.
