Road Engine Dreams..... A message of hope through music. Music is the engine that propels this rugged band down a road where they can overcome adversity and realize their dreams.Chris “Ace†Cardinal - Vocals...Guitars..Chris always felt a connection to the powerful sound of rock n’ roll. But he didn’t relate to the simple picture painted by the lyrics of the songs he heard on the radio. So he picked up a guitar and taught himself to play, then started writing songs that explored the life he experienced as a young man growing up in a tough neighborhood on Vancouver’s east side.Gabe “Scumby†McCormick – Bass... Gabe's interest as a musician and his relationship with the Cardinal brother's, made him the perfect person for bass in the earlier years of R.E.D’s developing sound. Chris taught Gabe the fundamentals of the bass enough for Gabe to develop his own style of playing.Buddy “Buddogg†Cardinal - Guitars...Vocals.. Buddy as well, learned how to play from his older brother Chris. Buddy's energy lifts the crowd and stage up to elevate you through R.E.D's live shows. Chris, Budd, and Gab honed skills together for 10 years shaping their sound to what has become Road Engine Dreams.K'aajuu G'aaya - Drums....K'aajuu joined R.E.D just over 2 years ago completing the backbone of the band. This multi-instrument musician fit right in place with the vision of the established sound. With a solid group of dedicated fans and regular appearances on local radio, television shows, and the North American festival circuit, R.E.D. is poised to explode onto the mainstream music scene and take their message of strength and transcendence to the world at large.Motivated by the crazy rush they get from a live show, R.E.D. plays every chance they get – so check out their web site at www.roadenginedreams.com for details on where and when to experience their next show.Their self-titled debut CD – recorded at Fortissimo Sound and engineered by Doug Fury.
