About Me

Lisa is a keyboardist/writer/producer/Choir Director active in music all of her life. Hailing from Chicago, she cut her teeth on gospel, jazz, R&B, pop, classical and anything else that she heard and liked. Straight up a church girl, Lisa has served in various churches as Musical Director, Minister of Music and Choir Director throughout her professional career in the industry.Staying predominantly in Gospel, Lisa has experienced the opportunity to perform with Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Vickie Winans, Kurt Carr, Albertina Walker, Kim Burrell, Smokie Norful, Shirley Caesar, Edwin and Tramaine Hawkins, Andre and Sandra Crouch, O’Landa Draper and the Associates, Ricky Dillard and New G, Chicago Mass Choir, Barbara Mandrell, Clifton Davis, Anita Baker, and many others.She served as Musical Director for Jennifer Holliday, Bobby Jones Gospel Show and Tours and Solomon Burke. She has appeared on the Gospel Music Stellar Awards, Dove Awards, Country Music Awards, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno as well as performed with various artists in Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center and has written and arranged choral and orchestral scores for many live events,TV shows and videos as well. She has written for and produced several albums for various artists and produced gospel recordings including her own newly released instrumental gospel CD, “Meditations of My Heart” a master gospel/jazz instrumental CD of many gospel favorites which recently won “Instrumental Performance of the Year” at the Gospel Newsome Awards 2006.Lisa took a hiatus on the pro side while working extensively in churches and is now returning to the industry after a decade long break. With plans with a new group, a new original theatrical production and many recordings on the table, look to hear and see some wonderful new things coming soon.

Sounds Like: Lisa is truly a one of a kind talent, very original with the ability to adapt to various styles, therefore hard to classify.
