No matter what kind of life you live,you'll always get back what you put in.At least thats the philosophy of Kynn S.T.A.R.R(Kendrick Hibbler).Born and raised in East Saint Louis/Washington Park IL.where opportunitys never come knocking at your door.The only way to have something is to get out there and get it.Kynn was taught at a young age that if you dont take a chance then you dont have a chance in life.Growing up raised by his single mother with two brothers and one sister in a low income environment.Kynn had to witness as a child alot of things that the average child did'nt.He watched his mother struggle to keep bills paid and food on the table.At the age of 7 he developed a love for rap music.While other kids his age were playing with their action figures young Kynn was carring a walkman around listening to rap artists and groups like N.W.A,The Geto Boys,and Ice T.When he was in the sixth grade he memorized all the lyrics to almost every top rap single that was on the radio.It was not to long before he started putting down lyrics of his own.By the time Kynn was 13 he started writting and peforming raps & freestyles at school dances and around his neighborhood.He was instantly noticed in the streets for his gangsta lyrics and tongue twisting style.By the time Kynn was 15 he started peforming on a local tv show in East Saint Louis on Friday nights.He began performing on the show every week buliding a solid reputation for himself.It was not long before he got tired of seeing his mother struggle to take care of him so he started selling drugs in order to make easy money to provide for himself and persue his music career.Alot of the older drug dealers including his family members took him under their wing teaching him all about the streets.Kynn saw alot of people close to him die for pointless reasons.But when his best friend Cedric Deal got killed,his grandmother died of cancer,and he found out he had a baby on the way Kynn started looking for a way out.Everytime that he would try to back away from the streets somehow he would get drawn back in.It was when he realized how he was stressing his mother out when he knew he had to try something different.In early 2005 Kynn quit his underground record label that he and his brother started.Kynn was the producer,song writter,and top artist on that label.He gave up women, drugs, all his street credibility, and took the chance of his life by giving his life to Christ.Kynn got saved,sancitified,and filled with the HolyGhost in the same month he joined the Church of God in Christ Congregational.Shortly after that the Lord called him to the ministry.He took his street level rap style and turned it into gosple developing a style that is unlike any other artist.Although his music is considered gosple his audience is not.As Jesus said in Mark 2:17" They that are whole have no need of the physician.Kynn's music and poetry paints a picture so vivid that it'll draw you in so deep that you'll feel like you were there.This anointed preacher is a Producer/Poet/Christian Rapper.
