I swim in uncertain waves. The path I've chosen in life affects everyone around me, and I'm well aware of this. However, I am smiling underneath all this stress and turmoil, because I know, in my heart of hearts, I'm finally listening to what my body and spirit have been screaming at me to do for years. I haven't a clue where this new journey will take me, but I have faith that it will enlighten and enrich me, and for that, I can not regret a single decision.

Singing in different voices. Writing in different scripts. Dancing in different shoes. Laughing in different lifts.

Music:

Everything and all things. Introduce me to something I haven't heard, and I'll do the same for you.

Movies:

My tastes differ to my emotions of course, but I usually like movies of substance. Dumb comedies I save for those slow, depressing days. The ones I can watch over and over and over? the Labrynth (and Pan's Labrynth, even if I have to read subtitles), Lord of the Rings trilogy, Office Space, Finding Nemo, Searching for Bobby Fischer, any movie with Tom Hanks or Anthony Hopkins, and any Tim Burton film...i love that man's imagination

Television:

The Office (can't miss it), The Tudors (well done, even if inaccurate), House (have a huge crush on that man), American Idol (of course, right?), Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen, Picking Daises, Chuck, Biggest Loser, The L Word, Family Guy, The O'Reilly Factor (so that I can get angry), Hannity and Colmes (for an actual fair and balanced show on a network that's not fair and balanced), Real Time with Bill Maher (after O'Reilly, I desperately need it)

Books:

Books are my life..I can't possibly name my favorites, truthfully......but have you heard of Jeanette Winterson? :)

Heroes:

Everyone who has been faced with a challenge, and has overcome that challenge with great dignity.
