I enjoy so many things yet it's hard to put them in writing. Music is a given, my life has a very long and varied soundtrack. Horses, animals in general really (you should meet my Guinea Pig), exploring new avenues, dancing my hot ass off at a cool club, traveling to new and interesting places (and some old and familiar ones) Movies, Sports (Football and Equstrian in particular but I'll watch almost anything, including curling) Probably have to say gardening too, although I don't really like gardening but I LOVE flowers so...what is a girl to do? ..
I want to meet you, unexpectedly, on the street or in a store. Then we can go have dinner and talk all night.
My music taste is very eclectic. Generally I'm a 89.5 kind of girl (+ they have no commercials) techno, trance, electronica, say ERA, Dave Gahan, Tiesto, but also some harder stuff like Staind, Evanescence and Linkin Park. I just discovered another radio station I like: I 91 FM. Some people are just so talented and I'd hate not to enjoy them just because they picked a certain genre of music to express themselves in. Of course I like a lot of Swedish music that you never heard of :) And this guy: .. Now playing: Gnomusy (94-04)
There are so many...Brokedown Palace (awesome soundtrack), LOTR (ditto) extended versions, Crash, Memento, Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, Fifth Element, The Princess Bride, The Dark Crystal, Moulin Rouge, The Matrix... only to name a few. I used to be a horror junkie and still lean a bit on the dark side ..
Wouldn't watch it if it wasn't for our DVR. Latest guilty pleasure: LIPSTICK JUNGLE! I mainly go for unscripted shows like almost anything on BRAVO (Project Runway, Top Chef, Blow Out, Work Out) and football but I do enjoy How I met your Mother, 4400, Journeyman, Heroes and King of the Hill (At least those are shows Chip and I can agree on) ..
I devour books, usually something in the horror/thriller range but a good mystery or romance sneaks in too. I do love to get lost in a fantasy/sf story. On my shelf you'll find Koontz, King, Kellerman, Diana Gabaldon, Katharine Kerr, Astrid Lindgren :) OK, so it's mostly lightweight but I like to read to get away from life, not ponder over how complicated it is. ..
My dear friend Linda, a true inspiration! Michele. She knows why.
