About Me

I enjoy being alone - probably too much. I love fall and winter more than spring and summer. I love to travel and it's difficult staying in one place very long. I have two beautiful and very gifted daughters and an exquisite granddaughter. I'm married though my youngest will argue the point. "I love you," their father says. "Yes, I love you too," says I. We've been separated twenty-three years out of twenty-five. Now that's crazy, but it suits us.

My Interests

I'm writing a novel...and it's breeding. It has become this...this thing that feeds on me every day. It began as a story about three women - the Fitzpatrick women - who are of human and elfin origin. The Gold is born once every five hundred years and she holds the power of wealth without measure. She also holds the power of the other two lines who are born every generation - Raven Black and Red Flame. Raven Black holds the power of war with body and blade, and Red Flame holds the power of magic and healing. It appeared the Gold would be the main character but I'll be damned! Here comes Lyric and Rose, Loudon bears, Sojourns, and Miers, and it has become a beast! I love crafts and am considering picking up an instrument - a glass flute maybe.

I'd like to meet:

I like Mediaeval Baebes, Tori Amos, Loreena McKennitt, and my eldest daughter introduced NIN including Johnny Cash's version of their song 'Hurt' - amazing. A few new favorites - Nox Arcana, Corvus Corak, Epica, and Libera.
