U Tube has lots on step by step video's on how to.Other things to do that are inexpensive, and help the planet are: compost, wash in cold water, line dry, insulate your water heater, buy a timer (called a little gray box) for your water heater, replace your old lights with cfl's, replace flood lights with low wattage motion sensors, install a programmable thermostat, use grey water, only do full loads of dishes and then use the energy saving cycle, bike or walk instead of driving, recycle, reduce, reuse, always turn out a light when you leave the room, car pool, etc... ..
