About Me

************************************************************ **** This work was developed under an umbrella of all transformation produced inside me by the cultural differences between Moscow and Belém. During the years in Amazonia, I lived with the beauty of the rustic in its more primitive and divine forms, bud it was the skills of mine provided by the P.I Tchaikovsky conservatory that the richness of the enormous nature surrounds me was translated into music. Finally, the name chosen, Jivelox, is a neologism, an assemblage of the word Jiv-living, root part of LIFE, in Russian-and-Velox- fast in latin-it’s a way of saying intense life. It’s 4 from 15 compositions of album ************************************************************ ****Son of a musician, Vadim has started studying the piano and the bassoon when he was only 8 years old, entering later in the secondary school of music from the State Conservatory of Moscow, where he was a student of V.P.Gorbatchov. In 1985, he started the Third grade at the Tchaikovsky conservatory, in the class of R.P. Tyerokhin. For four years he was a soloist of the Camer-Colegi, being part of several tours around Russia, and also recording a number of CDs. He was a member of the symphonic orchestra of Moscow, conducted by Eugeny Svetlanov, having recorded the cycle of Mahler’s Symphonies. He participated in several music festivals in the city of Evian, France, all of them under the regency of the great conductor M. Rostropovich, and also performing with the Festival Orchestra, conducted by Bashmet. In Vienna, he was part of the Modern Music group of blowing instruments, to record a CD with pieces of Austrian contemporary composers. As a soloist, he has performed with a number of Chamber orchestras in Spain, France and England. At the Londrina Festival of contemporary music he has performed great pieces of Russian composers. Currently he is part of the teaching group of Carlos Gomes Conservatory, and in the third grade of UEPA (State of Pará University), and he was part of the OSTP (Symphonic Orchestra of Theatro da Paz). During his almost 12 years in Belém, he participated in various concerts, in stages like Theatro da Paz, Saint Alexander Church, and has performed in all the festivals which were promoted in this town, including the recent Opera festival. Many of his former students are now members of important orchestras around the country.
