Dark Waters and Empty Bottles is the side Project of Jeremy Blake and Rayne Zimmerman, Guitarists from the Minneapolis Based Metal Band, Dying Euforia. Dark Waters and Empty Bottles is the outlet for their more Blusey, melodic, southern, Gothic, and Rock influences.
This project is something both guitarists have wanted to do for a very long time........and finally on one cold Minnesota winter night, over quite alot of Jag and Vodka, these two Dying Euforia Brothers grabbed a couple acoustic guitars and just started jamming. Almost immediatly out came a very odd mix of "The Cold White light" Sentenced, "Hangover Music, Vol. VI" Black Label Society, Zepplin, and even a touch of the '80's rock ballad stylings of bands like White Lion and Cinderella.
MP3's will be up eventually (Hopefully within a couple months), but at the moment Rayne and Jeremy are busy at work laying down their guitar tracks for the up comming DYING EUFORIA album.
While this side project is currently a 2 piece accoustic effort, eventually the two would like to add a drummer and bassist and explore a slightly heavier, more "Rocking" approach to their sound.
