Get ready for the uber dorkness:
Hitting up as many museums as possible, symphonies, operas, DEEP HOUSE , latin house, funky house, jazz, acid jazz, classical, hip hop (particularly politically-minded REAL hip hop), turntablism, good old days of great acid techno and trance (remember those old school German's with their crazy trance?), any form of art with intelligence and meaning behind it, meditation, target practice, belly dancing, physics, ballet, random incomplete early Renaissance bedroom murals, hiking, camping, enjoying breathtaking views, traveling, great wine (Ethiopian honey wine - I love you), great friends (on the rare occasion you can find some), ancient civilizations, Africa, education and......
Life.
I'd like to meet:
Anyone interesting enough to hold my attention for more than....let's say a week, anyone without an ego/on the humble side, men who don't mistake wanting to hold my own financially as a sign that I want to be their sugarmomma (50/50 or gtfo), people who listen as much as they do talk, and those not opposed to comfortable silences.
I'm interested in meeting people who think outside the box; people who dont automatically accept the information that is presented to them, who do real research before forming opinions, are capable of seeing the broad scope of things, and also function on a relatively spiritual level, regardless of the material world around them (that's not to say that we're not entitled to reward our hard work with some of the finer things in life). Most importantly, people who, whatever their personal issues are (we ALL have them), acknowledge it, recognize the impact it has on the people around them, and are honest about it.
Most importantly, I love meeting people who are really into self-exploration. They recognize that life is a continuous cycle of exactly that, and constantly keep themselves open to improvement and change. Those are the people who always remain young at heart, and help put happiness back into the world.

Movies:
God, where to begin - we'll limit it to american film, to save space: Contact, because I'm a dork that believes in the marriage of physics and spirituality - yes the dialog is cheesy (read the Tao of Physics); Star Trek over Star Wars (yes, I'm a complete dork); Al Pacino - Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico, Heat, Scent of a Woman, the usual Godfather, Scarface, etc - he is one of the best character actors of all time; Gene Kelly and his dancing genius in An American in Paris - which somehow transferred the beauty of french impressionism into film and dance; Julie Andrews - because I'm still a kid on the inside, Mary Poppins, Sound of Music; Dick van Dyk in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and again Mary Poppins (yes, I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body); Judy Garland - I wouldn't even know where to start...and the rest, you'll have to ask, lol.
