About Me
You could visit a lot of websites, and research the work I've done for a few hours, or just sit here and glean over a few paragraphs for a bit.The issues I've been involved with that caused the greatest commotion are attempting to remove a Ten Commandments plaque from the Chester County Courthouse and convincing the Boy Scouts of America to allow atheist and gay members. I've also been working as the Friggatriskaidekaphobia Treatment Nurse where I debunk fears, superstitions, and phobias people have about Friday the Thirteenth. I've also done party planning, Secular Ceremonies, school presentations and conference speeches regarding a variety of subjects. Call my office if you need a ceremony, media training, a historical character, or treatment for your superstitions. My work as a Secular Celebrant allows me to meet other humanists as they enjoy the start of their union of love, share in naming ceremonies of children, or celebrate the lost life of a loved one.I'm an activist, constantly fighting for all the rights of free speech, and civil rights. As President of Atheist Alliance International , my goal is to make our voices louder, and more socially accepted. Some know me as the founder and President of The Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia (FSGP) , the Anti-Discrimination Support Network (ADSN), and the Thomas Paine Memorial Committee. I was also editor and publisher of FSGP's bimonthly newsletter, The Greater Philadelphia Story, a newsletter written by and for the Atheist community which concentrates on activist issues, political and religious satire, separation of church and state, and the advancement of freethought.I was a board member of the Thomas Paine National Historical Association, The American Humanist Association and The Humanist Institute. I am currently a board member of the Freedom From Religion Foundation.I am also an Advisory Board Member of the Robert Green Ingersoll Museum. I currently serve as president to the Atheist Alliance International and the Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia.I've been a guest speaker on National Public Radio's Talk of the Nation and Radio Times. I've also been featured on radio programs in Texas, South Carolina, California, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, China and Jamaica.I'm always willing to travel, accepting national and international speaking engagements. I am a regularly featured speaker at Atheist/Humanist conferences and am well known for delivering fun-filled presentations which include visuals, door prizes, props, and well-prepared complimentary literature. Now that you know all that....
