Born in NYC, an awkward adolescent turns to the guitar to escape the pain of growing up, and to pick up chicks, playing in bands since 15, went to St. John's University, got married, got divorced, played in some NYC bands that made a dent, but never really made it. Met a girl, moved to St. Thomas, Hurricane Marlilyn gave him Dengue Fever, moved to St. John for 5 more years, a trip to Asheville to attend the Swannanoa Gathering turned hired gun lead guitar player into songwriter...Moved to Asheville in 2001, moved back to St. John in '05-06....decided to try Nashville, wrote some uninspired music, did some low paying sessions...Now, back in Asheville, Tom has decided to focus on what he does best-playing guitar, producing and songwriting."i love good songs, great musicians, guitars, amps, obscure pedals, my cats, Lucy and Joe Frazier, and living life well"
