Nuka 54

NUKA 54 was founded in the middle of 2005.
The former of the group was Martin The Saint aka Martinelli. It all started when Martin the Saint asked his friend – Dj Drive (the one who is the core of DLA Kru team) – what would he think about the creation of a group that would produce only house music.
They agreed to join they forces on this field, minding their long experience as djs and producers in other projects could be really helpful.
At the very beginning NUKA 54 consisted of 3 guys – the third was Dj Absoord.
After few months in the studio – numerous productions started to come out.
The very first one, which hit the radio charts as well as djs playlists – was the bootleg titled “Just Be Good To Me” recorded with the use of the vocals from Beats International. There were other more or less successful tracks afterwards, but the real boom caused the single titled “Now Its Time” which in 2006 was charted by many Polish countrywide radio stations. The continuation of this “Right 4 Luv” is to be, which is to come out really soon, although it is already played by some radio stations in Poland and abroad.
The guys also work on the new track “Lovin’ You” which is to follow the “Right 4 Luv”.
To divide the commercial and non commercial part of their production activities, they decided to form some new projects under the names of :
Martinelli & Danny Boy – on for the classic and main type of house genre;
The Same Men – for the more elctro and progressive sounds.
It is also important to mention that NUKA 54 owe a lot to Dj Direct, who closely cooperate with the group on the field of musical concepts as well as management activities incl. releases and labels contacts/contracts.
