My name is Amber, I am 24 years old. I have been in the National Guard since I was 17 years old. I spent a year overseas, it was an experience I will never forget for the rest of my life. I was able to see part of the world I never would have been able to see if I had never joined the military.I recently reenlisted in the Montana Army National Guard for another six years.
I have one class left until I get my associates degree in art. I am still figuring out what I really want to do but right now I have the most awesome job I could ask for. I work for the Printing Press and a newspaper (Kootenai Valley Record). For the printing press side I create: business cards, posters, invites, postcards, etc. For the newspaper I design advertisements. I am now spending a second year overseas in Iraq again, but in a different area which is a nice change up from last time. I would like to see how the places I were last time are and how much if at all they have changed.
