About Me

My name is Jeff TenEyck (pronounced-"TEN-IKE"), also known as JT, and I am a happily married father of four, that's right, 4 wonderful kids. My wife Kim is probably the kindest and most generous person I know. I am a union sheet metal journeyman that works in the layout and pattern development department which I have been doing for 24 years. Luckily work has been fairly stable for me over the years. I have been fortunate enough to play with some very talented Detroit music scene veterans over the years and have met some pretty amazing people. I have been an entertainer for over twenty years and have opened up for some major national acts over the years with various projects. The national acts were King's X, Saigon Kick, Armored Saint, Trixter and Tony MacAlpine. The venue's would include the Ritz, Harpo's, the Token lounge, the I-Rock and many others. Let's face it, there is alot of history here. I have recently finished working on new material in the studio for a full length C.D. My next step is to record some personal original music I have had as a backlog for awhile. Recently I have discovered that someone with my last name holds some patents with the AMPEG company, funny me being a bass player and all, and even had his own line of amps back in the 60's. You would swear we were blood related! I have now started to focus on one band that I am truly blessed to be in which is Thrillride. If you like down to earth and truly honest people to hang out with, this is your crew. Come check us out, you'll have fun for sure..............

Sounds Like: Teneyck transistor amplifiers: The G-series. These are designed by Bob Teneyck who also worked for Ampeg (design of Gemini series plus patents for Ampeg's vibrato and tremolo) and designed for Sunn (see 1969 "Orion"). Next year (1967) the T-series of amplifiers is introduced. First solid-state Sunn amplifier “Orion” is designed by Bob Teneyck. This amplifier is endorsed by Jimi Hendrix but proves to be a commercial disappointment due to many field failures. The following Sunn transistor amplifiers are designed by Dick MacCloud from Tektronics ****PLEASE SUPPORT PAT'S OTHER BAND MELLOTRON, THEY DESERVE IT !!!****
