Kink members join forces in October 2000. the alchemy between the different tastes of the members soon become the philosophy and the backbone of their artistic approach with a very personal sound. The result is this so called "space-rock" that brings the technological support to a new level, not only as grace-notes but becoming a proper instrument creating an atmospheric sound with an ethereal and claustrophobic touch. In august 2001 the band decide to record the first Promo-Cd called "Voyage 34" (4 tracks) and enter Fear Studio in Alfonsine (RA), Italy. Soon come the chance for a Mini Tour throghtout Italy and the massive internet promotion bring the band the chance to be included in Fray Records's compilation "Hate Sound System". During this winter the band is contacted by Mtv Italia and they become best new talent in Mtv's site. After few weeks they also perform in Mtv Supersonic Show together with bands like Cranberries. After that many showcases and shows are done. Kink join the selection for Arezzo Wave 2002 and they also perform at the Rock Tv Tour of the same year. Rock Tv give also the chance to perform at "Sala Prove" show and to the talk-show "Database". At this point Kink are sure to have enough stuff to re-enter Fear Studio for the first full-length. They self-produced the Master with the strong intention to find a good label ready to print and promote it. In January 2003 when the record is ready (the title is "Tsunami") the bass-player of the band Max goes to Los Angeles in the occasion of NAMM Show. The intention is to find contacts with the most important labels and managements in the World. In Spring Caprice International contact the band showing to be interested in promote the band with their single "Wind Mills" throught internet promotion, giveaways and radio airplay's. Soon after even aussie Indie High Beam Music ask Kink to join their compilation called The Sound Monitor, the track included is "Spray". In the meanwhile many other shows are done and one of those is during the very important I-Team Tour 2003 in Arezzo. Few months later Kink take contacts with japanese Indie RB Records Japan and they love the band's stuff! At the end of the negotiation the label decide to promote and release "Tsunami" there in their country opening to the band many important channels in this very important international market! In September 2004 the album is also released in Italy by italian Indie Rising Works Records thru their imprint label Adverse Rising. The distribution is care of Self and give the band the support they deserve. And the Story continues... Stay Tuned!!!
