THE GATHERING PLACE, LOCATED IN CHEROKEE, IOWA, IS EXACTLY WHAT THE NAME SAYS IT IS. A PLACE WHERE MUSICIANS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY CAN COME TO GATHER AND HAVE A GREAT TIME.THE GATHERING PLACE HAS BEEN HOST TO MANY MUSICIANS AND BANDS RECENTLY.RISING COUNTRY AND WESTERN SENSATION TOM WURTH.UP AND COMING ROCKERS SOMETHING UNDERGROUND.BLUES SENSATIONS THE HATCHLINGS ALONG WITH BOB DOOR AND THE BLUE BAND.GUITARIST GLENN ALEXANDER.MARK PENDER FROM THE CONNAN O'BRYAN SHOW.JUST TO NAME A FEW.THE GATHERING PLACE WAS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE PREMIRE PLACE TO PERFORM DURING THE CHEROKEE JAZZ FESTIVAL.OPEN JAMS FOR MUSICIAN OF ALL LEVELS OF PLAYING ABILITIES IS A FUN ATTRACTION AS WELL AS FUN TO EITHER PARTICIPATE IN OR JUST SIT BACK AND RELAX. THE OPEN JAMS OCCUR ON A BI MONTHLY BASIS, MUSICIANS CAN COME AND PARTICIPATE AT ANY OF THEM, ANYTIME FOR NO MORE THAN A SMALL DONATION TO HELP OFF SET SOME EXPENSES FOR OPENING THE PLACE UP FOR THE EVENING.THE JAMS ALSO ENJOY THE SPONSORSHIP OF ROCK HOUSE METHOD PRODUCTS.
