Joe Credit III (Mandolinsanity)

About Me

Hi, I'm Joe. I really like to play the mandolin. I know it's unwise to wear your heart on your sleeve, but to deny the obvious is a little childish, isn't it? I've been told that my out look on this world is a little weird. Insanity runs in my family, but so does music. My parents met in a musical (you're a good man charlie brown), my grandparents all played music (except one, but he was a damn fine deer hunter) , and my great grandparents in Lebanon were drummers. I play with and have played with some really nice people. I am blessed by the people who dig what I do, thank you. I really like to laugh, but I have a very dry sense of humor. Sometimes I get shy in large groups, so don't be discouraged if I sneak away. It puts me always very near the edge of a party.
I like to eat goat cheese and indian food. I like stuff that blows my mind like jazz, history, philosophy, and art. someday i will go to london and pee in the river.
Bring a lot of happy funness with you to my shows, have a good time, fasten your seat belts, and remember to keep your arms and head inside the car AT ALL TIMES!
If you like any of the songs posted, let me know!

Stop the shelling of Gaza, NOW!

I know exactly how to handle an ethnic group that gives you trouble. First, round up as many of the group as you can. (easier to keep an eye on them) Second, disenfranchise and discredit professionals...

What is music? My mom has a magnet on her fridge that says, "those who sing pray twice." I still hold that as a truth. Especially since that was the only constant in my childhood religious experience....
