The Dutch youngster (born in 1986) created his fine style and feeling for music by listening to the big variety of different music styles in his father’s record collection.In the year of 2000 he was getting interested in the funky and groovy sounds of house-music. He started playing house at small parties to gain experience, to get used to playing for a crowd and to learn from other DJs.Dave Mayer’s real career took off in 2006, when he got the opportunity to spin at the beautiful Hotel Arena, Amsterdam. One of the residents cancelled and gave Dave the opportunity to prove himself, and so he did.Dave Mayer is rocking the major clubs in The Netherlands every week now, with deep vocals and clean sounds, a characteristic set that will surely make you dance.In 2005 he started to produce his own tracks, which brought him a worldwide appreciation.
