My Interests

These are new: oil paint, collage and embroidery on fabric and paper. This is a regular old fashioned drawing:

Music:

very varied, not always cool. neko case, pj harvey, yeah yeah yeahs, pretty girls make graves, man man, the dandy warhols, animal collective, prince, some classic rock (esp. peter frampton-i will not apologize for that)

Movies:

Horror movies (not torture), Hitchcock (Frenzy is my favorite), film noir (esp. French noir like Le Samourai), Ghost Dog, The Third Man, M, The Shining, Pan's Labyrinth, Taxi Driver, Remains of the Day, any Akira Kurosawa, Old Boy & Lady Vengence, Adaptation, Manchurian Candidate (the original), Young Frankenstein and Dr. Strangelove, The Element of Crime (Lars von Trier's first movie--check it out). I am really into Asian horror right now, and French New Wave. God bless netflix. and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN!!!!

Television:

star trek, masterpiece theater, frontline, the price is right, twilight zone, the office, planet earth, seinfeld (still), too much news.
