Hi, danny the wonderboy here. If you are unaware of who I am, I am a cunning left hand orthadox bowler who is not to shabby with the bat. Currently playing for the fighting Kiwis and am honored to be their vice-captain behind the great Stephen Fleming When selected I was, and still am, the youngest ever cricketer to play for New Zealand at the tender age of just 18. I've now been playing for New Zealand for 10 years while playing domestic level cricket for Nothern Districts in New Zealand and for Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire in England. Was also lucky enough to be selected for the World XI a few years back, allowing my to play alongside some great players such as Brian Lara, Murili, and Jacques Kallis. I'm currently sitting on 229 test wickets at an average of 34.24 and have 2250 runs at an average of 25.28. Playing for so many years has allowed me to pick up some outstanding individual results at times including my best match figures of 12/149 against Australia as well as two test ceturies, 137* vs. Pakistan and 127 against Bangladesh. In the lesser form of the game (or limited overs cricket as it's better known) I've somehow managed to play 189 matches taking 184 wickets at 33.48 a piece including my best figures of 5/30 against the West Indies. While my batting in the short form of the game has been less than spectacular, 1256 runs at an average of 14.95, I do the job that is required of me. I have had my name mentioned in the record books from time to time, but never at the top of the lists. I was the 13th player to reach the all-rounders double of 200 wickets and 2000 runs, joining other great New Zealand alrounders Chris Cairns and the great Sir Richard Hadely. I do hold the rather strange record of having the highest average of any player to bat at number 8 for more than 30 test matches at test level as well as having dismissed the greatest spinner of all time, Shane Warne, on the most occasions getting him out 9 times.
