Dennis Boxem is just one of those guys that can't make up his mind about what to do. So he just does it all.
Dennis has been playing drums for most of his life starting with the local marching band at age 5. Nowadays Dennis plays a variety of styles with different bands and artists throughout the year.
If he's not behind the drumkit chances are you'll find him behind the computer or the cameralens writing stories, doing interviews and taking pictures as one of the worlds few journalists totally dedicated to drums. Dennis is one of the chief editors of the Dutch drummers magazine Slagwerkkrant and contributes to Drummer Magazine (uk), Sticks (germany), Modern Drummer (US) and Drum! (US) on a regular basis. Throughout all his multidisciplinary activities there is one thing that shines through: his true love for the drums and music.
Dennis' work is about feel, sound, creativity and most of all Passion!
Dennis plays drums with Lunar and has played and performed with local and national dutch acts Spats Malone, Backwater, Reboot, Another Experience and many more! Dennis is also owner of Dutch drumschool Drumtoko
