My name is Kajol. I live in Mumbain India. I love acting, my ant Nutan and my Tanuja had been in bollywood for so long and i took there footsteps. My dad Shomu Mukherji he is a producer and director I love my dad, my sister Tanisha (Tich) is also in bollywood. She is very close to me being my only and youngest sister.
My husband Ajay is also a actor. We have a cute little daughter Nysa.
My very first movie was "Bekhudi in 1992. After that came a lot. Some of them are:'Baazigar' (1993), 'Yeh Dillagi' (1994),'Karan Arjun', with Shahruk Kha,'Gundaraj' and 'Hulchul'with Ajay, 'Dilwale Dulahaniya Le Jayenge'(1995) with Shah Rukh Khan.1997, I played a villainous role in Rajiv Rai's murder mystery 'Gupt' and became the first woman to win the Filmfare Best Villain Award.It was really exciting. Then I was again paired with Ajay Devgan in Indra Kumar's romantic comedy, 'Ishq' which was a huge commercial hit.After that came Pyar to hona hit tha with Ajay and Pyar kiya to darna kya with Salman khan. After I got married in 1999. Couple of home productions were "Raju chacha", (2000), 'Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi' (2001), Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham' (2001)In 2006 it was my comback in film with Yash Raj banner directed by Kunal Kohli "Fanna" With Amir Khan.
