Let's see.... I'm a drummer. It's not what I do, It's
who I am. I started playing drums when I was about 15 when I heard the first Black Sabbath album. It was Metal from then on out. After that I got into Jazz/fusion. Both styles to me offer a freedom like no other genre.
I was co-founder and drummer for death metal band Nile from 1993-2000. Being in Nile allowed me the Privilege of Traveling all across the U.S. many times and Europe. Seeing our cd on a juke box in Berlin was a high point. Plus sharing the stage with many great bands and their drummers: Morbid angel, Cryptopsy, Vader, Deicide, Gorguts, Enslaved, Immolation, Six Feet Under. Getting to watch these drummers play every night was a great learning experience for me.....Thanks guys! Before that I played in a metal band with Karl Sanders in the 80's along with some other projects of different styles.
I've been married to my beautiful wife Ronda for 22 years and have two beautiful daughters. I could not be more blessed and proud to have such a family. No matter where we are it always feels like home when I am around them.
Currently I am drumming for The Curbfeelers playing rock & roll. We just put out a video of one of our songs called 30 Days. You can see it on Youtube. I study all styles of music because I feel it is important to be well versed in many styles. Why limit yourself. That being said, I started studying guitar.....Let's see where that takes me!
