My name is Sean Brady. I live in Oldcastle, Co. Meath in Ireland, some 50 miles north-west of Dublin, our capital city.I have a great interest in American country music, so much so that I decided to create a fan website for one of the greatest country music singers ever.I have been an admirer of Gene Watson since January 1992; admittedly this is not a long time to be a fan of this great artist, but it is long enough for me to have developed a deep respect for someone who is a standard bearer for honest, traditional country music.My Gene Watson-dedicated website started out as part of another of my hobby websites & I later decided to acquire a separate domain name for a new site.The gene-watson.com domain became active in July 2004 and, following extensive work behind the scenes, the site went 'live' in September 2004. The site has become a resounding success and rightly so; Gene does very much deserve an online presence.www.gene-watson.comIn January/February 2006, I decided to redesign the site and over the months that followed, the site was given a facelift. The newly designed site (the version of the site that you can view today) went 'live' on Friday 10 July 2006.In January 2007, I decided to give a site a further revamp in order to bring it into compliance with browsers (apart from Internet Explorer 7) such as Opera, Mozilla & Firefox. This redesign of the site has not commenced as yet, but this work will start soon.While the resigned site is being developed, the present version of the existing site will continue to be available online & will be updated accordingly.
