About Me
Hellcome! Here´s finally the MySpace Site for my Band BATHORLORD, my Label BLACK GOAT PRODUCTIONS and myself, BATHORY Jeanette.
TO EVERYONE WHO`S INTO HEAVY METAL:
Although QUORTHON left us way too early, never forget what he did for us. For Heavy Metal in general. Those who met him and knew him as a person will love and miss him in all eternity, the Hordes shall worship him forever and keep his legacy alive! I had the great chance to meet him and I still miss him. Time heals some wounds and makes them hurt in a different way, but it will never be okay for me. HOLD HIGH THE BANNER BLACK FOREVER !!!
I had the idea to create something like a BATHORY Tribute Band in August 2000 and founded BATHORLORD. I scream the hell out of me and called it Female fronted Bathory devoted Blood Metal. I think, there´s no need to write about unreleased and lost stuff. Shortly before Quorthon passed away in 2004, I made some copies of a rehearsal tape including some covers we recorded. Now we are working strong on the first BATHORLORD MCD to be released this Summer. It will include 3 own tracks and at least 2 BATHORY covers. We are really active at the moment, the cover shall be finished soon, we have a rehearsal from the first track, Bathory cover tracks have been shortlisted. HAIL QUORTHON

About me:
I was born September 1978 in Northern Germany. Got into Heavy Metal 1991 when a class mate gave me a tape copy of WARLOCK´s "Triumph and Agony". For that, I still love DORO today. Some more Hardrock tapes followed, AXXIS, ALICE COOPER, BONFIRE and a year later I discovered classic Heavy Metal. RUNNING WILD were favoured by me at the age of 14 years. MANOWAR´s "Hail to England" & HELLOWEEN´s "Walls of Jericho" are still classics. A year later I listened to the first KREATOR album- I was totally impressed by speed and raw vocals. Death Metal was huge when I was 16 years old, started liking CARCASS, BOLT THROWER and MORBID ANGEL, I was amazed by anything that grunt. I was a sedulous "Headbangers´Ball" watcher and there I saw the first W.A.S.P. video in my life "Arena of Pleasure". This was very special for me. "Crimson Idol" means so much to me and through all the years, I never gave up listening to them. Through a Swedish pen-friend of mine I got into Black Metal around that time, too.
After going to school for ten years, I learned how to become a graveyard gardener and really liked my job, but Heavy Metal was always the most important thing in my life. By the age of 20, I had so many good friends in Southern Germany (Schwabenland) and decided to leave Northern Germany and moved to Ludwigsburg. The club scene, the underground scene, everything was bigger, better and much more active than in Bremen. I grew up in "Rockfabrik" and I worked as stage hand at that club and spent all my time on concerts. I quit jobs if my bosses didn´t give me a free day after a concert.
In November 1999 I started my own Fanzine "Tales of raging Fire", named after the Running Wild track. Issue 1 was out in August 2000, it sold about 200 copies.
A friend of mine brought me into BATHORY in June 2000. From the beginning on I knew that this is the ultimate favourite band for me. You always have one band that you worship the most, it was pretty clear to see that it shall be BATHORY for me.
In August 2000, I founded my BATHORY Tribute Band BATHORLORD.
My label BLACK GOAT PRODUCTIONS was founded in Autumn 2000, too and I noticed, I was too busy to go on seriously with another fanzine. I begun working for Massacre Records, The Metal Merchant in Spring 2000. It was so great, spending your work schedule with packing CDs and counting merchandise. HEAVY METAL CDs, HEAVY METAL merchandise!
I went another time on tour to sell merchandise for 3 weeks in September 2000 at the Nuclear Blast Festivals with Hypocrisy, Destruction, Crematory, Raise Hell and Kataklysm. After that Nuclear Blast offered me a job and I left Massacre Records.
Now I am 28 years old, have my own label Black Goat Productions, my band Bathorlord, work for Nuclear Blast and still I am 100% Metal. I knew that I won´t change when I was 13 years old. Heavy Metal is not just music to listen to, it´s a way of life, still it´s rebellion.
