About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I was born in 1969. Although I always found the 'Hokey Cokey' very rousing when we sang at nursery it wasn't until I heard Elvis that I was turned on to music. When I saw Ian Dury performing 'Hit me' on Top of the Pops I knew that rock and roll would be a lifelong companion. At thirteen I heard Nine Below Zero and Mark Feltham's harmonica sound grabbed and shook me. I went out and bought a harmonica. Since then I have been in many bands... The Lemon Squeezers, CB Blues Band, Wogans Wig (songs included Harold Bishop's Chins and Pooper Scooper), Wild 'n' Frantic, Arse, PCP, Munch, Humanzees, and more recently Klam (www.myspace.com/klamspace) and The Brothers of Mothershovel (www.myspace.com/brothersofmothershovel). I have done a few gigs over the last 20 years, mostly based in the Croydon/London area. I have ventured as far as Weston-Super-Mare, Ipswich and Hungary. I worked with Dominic Glynn (www.myspace.com/dominicglynn) on Doctor Who's 'The Happiness Patrol' (This gives me the right to say I've worked with Sheila Hancock, something I never fail to mention whenever she appears on television). Other work I have done with Dominic has appeared on Red Dwarf and Food and Drink (Although I never mention working with Oz Clarke, I like to keep this disgusting fact a secret). These days I have been doing solo busking on the London Underground and in Croydon. I have also played with James Hunter, Wishbone Cain, Big Joe Louis and Wolfie Witcher at the Oval Tavern in Croydon (www.myspace.com/ovaltavern). Watch this space for gigs with the Brother of Mothershovel... P.s. I am available* for session work. (*not including Razorlight.)
