Liberation Works

About Me

Liberation Works are quickly becoming recognised as the new name on the circuit with there modern approach to Country, Blues Rock & Roll.
The band formed together with the intention of creating a whole new style of music with influences ranging from Rock and Roll to Blues, Country to Folk Rock, Indie to Western.
In the two short years of the bands existence keen interest has been shown from both the fan base and promoters. The band have recorded their new EP ‘The Moonshiner Sessions’, made an appearance on Red TV (Sky Channel 168) and have performed live on BBC Radio.
The sound is a mixture of ‘Dylan-esc’ song writing, memorable riffs, infectious beats and hard hitting guitar meeting with rave success and applaud.
In the early days Liberation Works played at venues such as: The Jug of Ale in Mosley, The Bodega Social in Nottingham, The Little Civic in Wolverhampton, The King Kong Club in Kings Heath, The Rainbow Club and Spotted Dog in Digbeth, The Mono Bar and Bar Academy in Birmingham along with The Varsity venue in Wolverhampton.
Most recent gigs for the band have included the Carling Academy 2, the Pleasure Unit and Industry (Both in London) and the Wyeside Festival in Hereford. As well as shows for SJM Concerts supporting THE REVEREND HORTON HEAT and THE DODOS.
