My name is Joanna.
I'm not amazing. I'm not unique. I'm not going to change the world. But I do exist. And I am happy. Some people enjoy my company, most do not. I enjoy some people's company, most I'd rather deal without. I like some things. I dislike a lot of other things. I wish I had the same talent as Jesse Lacey, William Beckett, Butch Walker, and Conor Oberst. I'm mostly confused but sometimes I have a moment of clarity. I'm lazy, not ambitious. I argue a lot. I hate being wrong. I'm selfish. I'm self-centered. I like to laugh. I love to laugh. I have a boy. He plays guitar. (For the record, if I were Superman, a pale, scrawny guy holding a guitar would be Kryptonite.) I love sleeping beside him. I set goals for myself and I will achieve them. I like talking to strangers (so long as I don't think they are creepy). I write down everything. I believe in myself. I believe being crushed against a barricade by 200+ people is what freedom, love, and music are. I believe that certain camera angles can capture emotion and time. I believe that with the right music you can do anything. I believe that you have to let go of negativity. I believe you have to trust people. I think a lot. I feel even more. I'm just me.

Get used to Haters. Ignorance is usually served with a side of Jealousy. And vice-versa. I'm just as easily hated as I am loved. I may be Daft, and I am definitely a Prick, but there is no way I'm going to tolerate being called a Daft Prick. Time isn't the only blood I have on my hands. Or is it the other way around... Blood isn't the only time I have on my hands...? I can't remember right now. My love is so full, I feel bad but to boast. or is it... I feel bad but to burst? Boasting and Bursting... Sometimes they are the same thing, aren't they... One thing is certain, and one thing only. Right now, this is all I can find solace in.
