Myspace BackgroundsRoberto nació en Ciudad Victoria Tamaulipas México, Comenzó a estudiar la guitarra en México principalmente Clásica y Música Folklórica, el guitarrista Sergio Manzur le mostró los sonidos del Jazz y el Alma Folk de la Guitarra, ha tocado la guitarra en distintos ensambles, tocando Jazz, Blues, Rock, Música Latinoamericana, Gypsy etc.. Estudio Composición en el "Conservatorio de las Rosas" por 3 anos en Morelia Michoacan México, Durante esa época toco con el saxofonista Juan Alzate, así como en otros ensambles en la Ciudad, en Ciudad Victoria toco con el Trio de Jazz "Madera Jazz", Desde 2005 se mudo a Holanda (Países Bajos) donde estudia Jazz Guitar con el Maestro Marcel Karreman en el "Utrecht Conservatorium"y tocando con su banda de jazz "A-trio" y con la Bid Band Utrecht, ha ganado la beca "Estudiante de Arte en el Extranjero" del ITCA "Instituto Tamaulipeco para la Cultura y las Artes", en el Verano del 2008 asistio al Jazz Guitar intensive in Steinhardt Universidad de Nueva York, ha tomado clases y cursos con excelentes musicos como: Eef Albers, Ken Bassman, Enrique Baladez, Jesse Van Ruller, Fernando Huergo, Dick Oatts, Marcus Miller, Marten Van den Grinten, Bert Van den Brink, Heyn Van de Geyn, Richard Smith, Bruce Arnold, Kenny Wessel, Pete Mccann, Tony Moreno Etc.-------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------Roberto was Born in Victoria Tamaulipas Mexico, he had started studying Guitar in Mexico mainly Classical and Folk music, the guitarist Sergio Manzur showed him the sounds of jazz and the folk soul of the guitar, since then he had played the guitar on different ensembles, playing Jazz, Blues, Rock, Latin American Folk, Gypsy etc. He studied Composition in the "Conservatorio de las Rosas" for 3 years in Morelia Michoacan Mexico, during that time he played with the Saxophone player Juan Alzate, and in other Jazz Ensembles in the City, in Victoria he played with the jazz trio “Madera Jazz”, Since 2005 he moved to The Netherlands where he's is studying Jazz Guitar with Eef Albers and Marcel Karreman in the Utrecht Conservatory, and playing with his Jazz Band "A-trio" and with the Big Band Utrecht, he had win the Scholarship "Art Students Abroad" from the ITCA "Fine Arts Institute of Tamaulipas", in the summer of 2008 he attended to the Jazz Guitar Intensive in Steinhardt New York University. He had take lessons and workshops with great musicians like: Eef Albers, Ken Bassman, Enrique Baladez, Jesse Van Ruller, Fernando Huergo, Chuy Barragan, Dick Oatts, Marcus Miller, Marten Van den Grinten, Bert Van den Brink, Heyn Van de Geyn, Richard Smith, Bruce Arnold, Kenny Wessel, Pete Mccann, Tony Moreno, Etc.
