Bill's Bookstore

About Me

At the end of WWII, Bill Schuessler returned from the Philippines with dreams of owning a business. He and a college friend opened a soda and sundry shop at the University of Alabama called "The Corner". Still operating today in Tuscaloosa, "Mr. Bill" sold his interest in The Corner in 1951 and moved his family to Tallahassee, where Florida State College had just become a co-educational institution. Mr. Bill opened Bill's Bookstore across from the Wescott building on Copeland Street where it stands proudly as a landmark still family operated. Today Bill's is proud of our three locations on Copeland Street, Tennessee Street, and our new location on Pensacola Street. All three locations features gear for every Seminole fan, alumni, and student. Not to mention the best selection of textbooks serving FSU, TCC, Flagler, and Lively colleges.
