The Boom Room is all about bringing the talent out across Basildon. Aimed at youths, The Boom Room sets its cabs up in Basildon's Towngate Theatre 9 times a year to give you music addicts somewhere to call home and perform.
"Heavy Nights" take to the Towngate Theatre 4 times a year boasting some of the best bands in and around basildon. Any form of rock can pass for this night be it indie, blues-rock or heavy ska. You name it we have it, we suggest you hardcore rockers keep close eye on this page.
"The Boom Box" is on a whole new level. Taking our rock nights and turning them completely on their side to whip out some decks and some mics. Beat boxers, MC's and Deejays blast it out to beat seekign audiences!
SkatePark Daze is run by the Council Of Basildon and has taken off to be a flying success! We are there in full attendance twice yearly with carefully selected skater music to complete the atmosphere as pro's and ametures alike take to the... platform.
THE BASILDON FESTIVAL (BAsfest): Now this event is really our baby in terms of how much we treasure it. The Boom Room started by holding a stage at this festival back in the days of 06! We took off from there to hold all these other hardcore events and still go back every year! We are there all day for two days straight! We are on these days non subjective to any musical genre, often supporting solo artists, Dejays, fully hardcore screamo bands, ska acts, blues bands and i would be interested to find more unusual genres to fill some slots in future! All Hail the morris dancers i say, then, maybe should stick to Rock n' Roll!
Being voluntary run means the people that do this arent just there for a wage they're there to make the best out of it they can and go miles out of their way to make it happen every time.
The Boom Room Acadamy is now teaching skills within the industry to youths across the county with an array of accredited courses by the Open College Network.

Reminder Though to Acts Wishing to Perform: YOU MUST ALL BE AGED 13 - 19 or up to 25 in SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES. This also applies to those wishing to enroll onto one of our accredited workshops. We do not get paid and neither to the acts who perform.
