Giammaria

Born in 1977, Giammaria from Ancona (Italy), has always had a passion for music and club culture. He starts his experience in the world of night clubs in one of the most famous venues on the Adriatic coast of Italy, AQVA DISCO VILLAGE. Giammaria's passion blossoms exactly in that place where the best national and international djs alternate on the decks. While he is working as a PR at Aqua Disco Village, he comes to realise that music and club culture will play an important role in his life and he buys a pair of Technics turntables and his first vynils. In that same period he also begins to study classic guitar and solfeggio. He later decides to move to London where he will live for two years. In the English capital he plays at Britalian, a party organised together with some of his friends and he also plays one Thursday a month at Guilty in Blag Club. Having permantly moved back to Italy two years ago, he regularly plays at Click House Club (a party organised by his friend and work partner Dj Manuel "de" Lorenzi) where accomplished International artists have recently played (among them Miss Jools from Mobilee and Sleeper Thief; Anthony Collins from Get-Physical and Robin Porter from Immigrant Records). He also organises the monthly party of his clothing shop Studio Area and he takes care of the decks every sunday evening at NU54 Entertainment Bar which has become a cult for young fellas in Ancona. His dj-sets are characterised by deep, new and groovy sounds whichever genre he plays from techno and tech house to minimal. Lately he has also started to unleash his own creativity and to venture in personal music production projects. Watch them out there!.
