Former Commanding officer of the U.S.S. Kahless NCC-76108 was born on the Varuk Province at the Kor’Tar family estate on standard Earth date: November 21st, 2343. He entered Starfleet Academy when he reached his 16th year and moved on campus in San Francisco. During his second year of training he chose an active duty/training assignment aboard Deep Space Nine in the Denoris Belt. Shortly thereafter, he fought in many of the major engagements during the three year long Dominion War, including a siege on Ar-558. After displaying gallant heroics during the siege, he was given the field commission of Ensign. After the war was over and the peace accords were signed he stayed on DS9 assisting Lt. Nog with any repairs the aged station required. In the year 2379, Lt. Commander accepted a transfer to the U.S.S. Titan under Captain William T. Riker. Because of all the experience aboard the aging DS9, he quickly became known as the “Jack-of-all Trades.” Later he accepted a transfer to the U.S.S. Havothika and accepted a promotion to Commander/First Officer. He was later promoted to Captain of the Sovereign Class Starship U.S.S. Dragon. Captain Kor’Tar stepped down from his post as Captain of the Dragon to join the Q Continuum. Later with the Q’s help he returned to the Federation’s dimension where he found he truely belonged in the first place. After returning to the Federation he accepted a post as Captain aboard the Federation Starship U.S.S. Kahless NCC- 76108 Sovereign Class.
“I will bring glory to the Federation and the Klingon Empire!”
In his Ready Room, you will not find starship models and only one book. Instead, you will find Klingon Hamlet in its original Klingon which he will often quote passages from. The walls of his Ready Room are adorned with a Bat’Leth, a Mek’Leth, a Ok’Tagh, and a Pain Stick. His crew rarely joins him in the Captain’s dining room because his food choices often turn their stomachs. He tends to eat Klingon foods, but has been known to consume human foods on occasion. He wears the traditional warriors Baloric with his family crest over his Starfleet uniform. His crew is mostly human and they do not always understand his actions, but he believes he has earned their respect and trust.
“I stand ready to defend the Federation and the Klingon Empire from hostile forces and to bravely face the unknown!”
TWO KLINGON HEARTS:
Qa’pla!
With fire and steel did the gods forge the Klingon heart.
So fiercly did it bear, so loud was the sound that the gods cried out. “On this day we have brought forth the strongest heart in all the heavens. None can stand before it without trembling at its strength.”
But then the Klingon heart weakened; its steady rhythm faltered, and the gods said, “Why do you weaken so? We have made you the strongest in all of creation!”
And the hearts said… “I am alone.”
And the gods knew that they had erred. So they went back to their forge and brought forth another heart.
But the second heart beat stronger that the first, and the first was jealous of its power. Fortunately, the second heart was tempted by wisdom.
“If we join together, no force can stop us.”
And when the two hearts began to beat together, they filled the heavens with a terrible sound. For the first time, the gods knew fear. They tried to flee, but it was too late. The Klingon hearts destroyed the gods who created them and turned the heavens to ashes.
To this very day, no one can oppose the beating of two Klingon hearts.
